What is Exploring?
The purpose of Law Enforcement Exploring is for young adults, to help their communities while learning about Law Enforcement. They do many community service projects throughout the year, and assist their community with problem solving and neighborhood improvement techniques. LEARNING TO PROTECT AND SERVE.

- CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2006 PINELLAS PARK POLICE EXPLORERS NATIONAL TEAM, 4TH PLACE IN DOMESTIC INTERVENTION, 6TH WHITE COLLAR CRIME, 17TH FIRST-AID, AND 21ST IN BOMB THREAT RESPONSE. ALL EVENTS WERE OF ABOUT 300 POSTS.

How Can I Become An Explorer?
You May be able to become an explorer If you can answer Yes to all of the following questions.
1. Are you between the ages of 14-18?
2. Do you maintain a 2.0 grade point average in school?
3. Have you successfully completed the eighth grade?
4. Do you have good moral character?
5. Do you have a clean criminal record?
6. Will you pass an oral board of your peers?
7. Will you demonstrate willingness to participate in explorer activities?
8. Is this honestly what you want to do and not something others want you to do?
When and Where Are The Meetings?
Meetings are held on every Thursday at the Pinellas Park Police Department, Located at 7700 59th St. Pinellas Park, Fl 33781 (across from the senior center). Explorers arrive in uniform at the Main Enterance of the Station beginning at 1730 hrs (5:30 P.M.). If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
